Tamannaah Bhatia Sindhi: तमन्ना भाटिया, Tamannā Bhāṭiyā ?; born 21 December 1989is an Indian film actress and modelwho predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu-language films. In 2005, she made her acting debut in her only Hindi film so far, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, before working in the major South Indian film industries.
Also in 2005, Tamanna made her Telugu debut in Sri, and in the following year she appeared in her first Tamil film, Kedi. In 2007, she starred in two college-life-based drama films, Happy Days in Telugu and Kalloori in Tamil, which both earned her critical acclaim. Following commercial successes with Padikathavan 2009 Ayan 2009, Paiyaa 2010 and Siruthai 2011 she established herself as one of the leading contemporary actresses in the Tamil film industry.She also has experience as a model appearing in various TV commercials

Early life
Tamanna was born on 21 December 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to a Sindhi couple, Santosh and Rajni Bhatia and she has an elder brother, Anand. She did her schooling in Maneckji Cooper Educational Trust School, Juhu, Mumbai whilst she is currently pursuing a BA degree at National College, Mumbai through distance education.
Career
Tamanna started her acting career in 2005 as a heroine in Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, her only Hindi film to date. The same year, she debuted in Telugu cinema in Sri, playing the leading female role opposite Manoj Kumar. In 2006, she made her debut in the Tamil film industry in Kedi, produced by A. M. Rathnam, along with Ravi Krishna and another newcomer, Ileana D'Cruz.
In 2007, she had three releases. After her role in the unsuccessful Vyapari, she starred in the Sekhar Kammula-directed Telugu film Happy Days which received positive reviews and became her first major box office success. Her next release was the Tamil drama film Kalloori, directed by Balaji Sakthivel, that won her accolades and critical acclaim in Tamil as well.

In 2008, she again had three releases, appearing only in cameo roles in two of them. In 2009, she received box office success with Padikathavan, with Dhanush. Her next Tamil film Ayan became a blockbuster and made her a leading star in the Tamil film industry. Her next film was Ananda Tandavam, which sank without a trace. But her performance was praised by critics. Her successive release Kandein Kadhalai, which was a remake of the 2007 Hindi blockbuster Jab We Met, was considered a moderate success. She did the role originally played by Kareena Kapoor and was praised by critics for her performance. Her first 2010 release was Lingusamy's romantic-action flick Paiyaa, a huge hit. It earned her a great name in the Tamil film industry. Her next release was Sura, with Vijay. The film was a box office dud and her performance was panned by critics. Her first release of 2011 was the Tamil action film, Siruthai alongside Karthi with the film becoming a success commercially, although her character was received poorly by critics with a reviewer citing that she offered "little more than arm-cand Tamannaah has completed her schedules for two Telugu films, the historical Badhrinaadh alongside Allu Arjun and the romantic comedy, 100% Love with Naga Chaitanya. Furthermore she has recently signed on to porrtray the lead roles opposite Jr NTR in Rachcha and Ram in Mana Love Story, whislt she will also feature in Hari's Tamil action film, Venghai with Dhanush.

Shahid Kapoor Hindi: शाहिद कपूर;born on 25 February 1981is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi language films. He is also a trained dancer.
Starting off his career by working in music videos and advertisements, Kapoor made his Bollywood debut as a background dancer in Subhash Ghai's Taal 1999. Four years later, he made his debut as a lead in Ishq Vishk 2003 and won a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for his performance. Following through with acclaimed performances in films like Fida 2004and Shikhar 2005, he had his first commercial success with Sooraj R. Early career, until 2005
Before starting off his career as an actor, Kapoor worked in several music videos and ads, including the Pepsi commercial with Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji post Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 1998 and the music video Aankhon Me Tera Hi Chehra by the Aryans along with Hrishitaa Bhatt. While doing so, he decided to join the Shiamak Davar Institute for the Performing Arts SDIPAwhere he was later seen in Subhash Ghai's film Taal 199 as a background dancer in the song Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jawe along with actress Aishwarya Rai and in Dil To Pagal Hai 1997 of Yash Raj banner with actress Karisma Kapon 2003, Kapoor played his first leading role as Rajiv Mathur, a carefree young man in Ken Ghosh's moderately successful love story Ishq Vishk Appearing opposite Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala, the film was well received by audiences and Kapoor's performance earned him a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. Film critic Taran Adarsh from indiaFM wrote, "Shahid Kapoor is an actor to watch. He has all the qualities to hit the top slot. Not only is he good looking, but he is an amazing performer as well.
